Heather Elkington

From her early days as an Assistant Manager on the shop floor at Harrods, to building and selling a tech company, and eventually rising to a Director role at a FTSE-100 corporation with 11,000 employees, managing 5 different teams.

Heather witnessed the contrast between teams with strong leadership - where innovation thrived and success followed - and those where leadership was lacking, resulting in low engagement and high turnover. Effective leadership makes or breaks a business.

Inspired by her own journey and the impact strong leadership can have, Heather founded Fresh Leadership World. Her mission is to teach new managers across the globe the unique principles that fueled her success and to build a world where everyone can truly love the work they do.

  • There are 6 modules, 25 lessons.

    The behind-screen watching and learning is 15-45 mins long each week.

    Each module comes with a set of actions for the participants to work on each week, which will add in another hour or two. 

    Then we have a LIVE session each week, these aren't mandatory, but will give you extra accountability, and the opportunity to learn and connect with 100s of other managers across the globe.

    In total: 2-4hrs per week, for 6 consecutive weeks

  • I would heavily suggest you asking your workplace to pay for this instead of you personally - It’s a huge driver of revenue for their workplace.

    We have either pay in full, or pay in 2 options.

  • Feel you on this one - I did the same. This course is different for 2 reasons:

    • It’s not boring. Each module is super fun and highly engaging, with interactive actions and reflection.

    • The modules are designed not to be taken all at once. You need to only take 1 module per week, so you have chance to reflect and take action on the rest. This really helps to split up the workload and means you don't have to stay focussed for hours at a time.

    • The content comes from real growth and leadership experience, not just a consultant wanting to teach you the stuff in the text books.

  • The main course is self managed, and you take 1 module per week.

    We do then run LIVE Q&A sessions weekly, where Heather will answer all your questions from the modules, and you'll have chance to chat to other students to share challenges and learnings.

  • The course is very much built for early stage managers, but if you feel ready to upskill yourself then it will be super helpful to get that knowledge in early.

    However I'd advise you only doing this if you have a leadership role in the pipeline, or your company want to get you upskilled ready for that next step.

  • Once you’ve bought the course you have lifetime access.

    We run lives for 6 weeks, to hold everyone accountable to completing the 6 modules and the actions.

    But if you need longer, you are more than welcome to take longer!

    We will be updating and growing the course forevermore, and you're always welcome to join any more of the live events in the future.

  • Absolutely, each student will get a CPD-awarded certificate with their name, the course and some other details so they can proudly show their management certification.

    We will make sure toward the end of the 6 weeks, everyone gets guidance on making sure they have their certificate awarded properly from CPD.
